Morton's -- Not impressed

Went to Morton's on Friday night. I had a gift certificate so two friends met me for a 'nice' night out. We were seated in the 1/3 full dining room at 8ish.

I can't complain, we had two decent salads, three different cuts of steak, potatoes and spinach and ended with Godiva chocolate cake. This was accompanied by two bottles of overpriced wine for $100/pp without tip.

It was a nice meal but I just wasn't WOWed. The service was fine, prompt and courteous. I must admit that I am not much of a steak person but my two friends were. Everything about the night was just 'nice' never 'wow'.

We all concluded that we prefer Abe & Louie's for its food and atmosphere. (Even ended up at A&L's for drinks after dinner.)

It can finally say I've been there, but really can't see myself going back anytime soon.
