So I have been to this place a couple of times for work lunches and it's not great. But yesterday was the absolute worst. The food was bland and the portions were atrociously small for the price.
Four of us had salads as mains (they were listed as mains at least) plus a salad to share as a starter. Mine was the nicoise which turned out to be a tiny tiny plate of mostly mesclun mix, a grand total of 3 small olives, one (1!) small fingerling potato finely sliced, and four small and very very thin slices of seared tuna. Oh, and two tiny quail eggs fried (which were actually tasty). Everyone's portions were tiny. We were so hungry we asked for bread to go with our salads - they brought out sliced, stale-ish, white bread slapped on a plate with no butter or dips. No kidding - this was variety-store quality bread. And to make matters worse, they brought FOUR half slices -- 1/2 slice each.
We then ordered and split three desserts (the cake tasted like it had been in the fridge for awhile, the others were tasty but unremarkable).
So with coffees and cran/sodas the bill came to....get this... $185 before tip!!!!
I won't be going back there any time soon.
