Moroccan in Cherry Hill: Oasis Grill

Oasis Grill is on Church, off the Rt. 38 circle. It's behind Benash Liquors, across from Wawa and Wendy's. Open since autumn 2004, it came highly recommended to us by my wife's co-worker - a woman whose track record of recommendations is stellar.

It's small, but clean, casual and well lit. The service is friendly, relaxed and well-meaning, but can be a little too relaxed when it's time to get the check. Hopefully this'll get better as the months go by. Father and son serve while the mother cooks some outstanding dishes: shawarma, vegetarian and non-vegetarian moussaka, and eggplant salad were the items we tried and loved. For a guy that isn't crazy about eggplant, these dishes were great. Mint tea and desserts were outstanding too. The mother used to work at Norma's.
Also open for lunch and take-out.
