Is Molyvos a good pre-theater choice?

dubious | Jul 1, 2002 05:46 PM

I don't much like the rushed feeling of pre-theater dining, or the crowds. Nor am I eager to fill up before going to a show.

I have out of town friends coming to NY two weeks from now, staying near City Center, and we're going to a play on W. 49th. They want to go to a real restaurant and not some place to get a quick meal. I've heard that Molyvos has very good food and is pleasant and I figure that as a Greek restaurant they'd let us fill up on appetizers if that's what we end up wanting to eat. Any thoughts? Any other ideas?
