The third of the three coffeehouses I visited in my recent trip to Sacramento was The Mill. The natural light that fills the space made it a lovely spot to get some work done in the morning. Yet the bigger attraction was the breakfast waffle served with powder sugar, butter sprinkled with some sea salt, and maple syrup. My cappuccino made with Portland's Heart "Stereo blend" beans was beautiful. I forgot to ask for the housemade almond milk . . . next time.
Pro tip: Street parking on The Mill's side of the street is metered. The spaces across the street are not.
