In Texas, where I spent seven good years, the Mexican places almost all serve something called migas. In Chicago, the Mexican restaurants don't have them, even the very tex-mexy ones. In fact I've never found them outside of Texas. Anyone have any leads on this? I miss them. I'd describe them, only they're a little different depending on who makes them, the basic ingredients being eggs and tortillas. Anyway, a direct email answer might be good, seeing as the volume of postings here looks enormous.
