Visiting from San Francisco, we had dinner here last Mon. night for the first time and loved the ambience and the unique decor. It was extremely busy at 8:30pm which suprised me a little, but the weather was great and there was lots of street traffic. I have to say that the food was sup-par at best. Had the tuna tartare filled into some crispy cones that lacked seasoning. The cocont soup, forgive me, tasting like dishwater. My duck dish had baby bok choy that was gritty and sandy from not being properly washed. Duck was overcooked and tasted livery. Overall some bad execution by the kitchen.
As I said, the ambience and local are great and it looked like a fun spot. I really wanted to like it. Being my first time there, it made me wonder if this was an off night.
