We will be in the area for a few days; I've looked through recent relevant posts and come up with these recs: Vientiane in West Sac, New Hong Kong Wok, Lemon Grass (expensive),Tapa the World (ditto)and La Favorita #2. What do you think? Other suggestions? We'll have three evenings for dinner and three lunches. We are planning a little day trip jaunt east on 50 to Placerville (cider doughnuts), Coloma and Auburn. I thought we'd stop at Corti's on our way for picnic stuff, although we welcome lunch recs for Placerville. We will spend part of a day in Davis. Thus far, I know about the Mustard Seed and Symposium (Greek). Yes? No?
Besides Symposium, are there any middle east/Mediterranean places that you would recommend?
Also any gardens, non-standard museums, etc. to see. I know about the Foundry Museum and the Insect collection at UCD (I know, I know. Basically inaccesible) - any others? Thanks.
