Mid-Afternoon Meal in Rome???

Jon Leventhal | Aug 19, 2002 04:55 PM

I'm watching that $40 show on FoodTV, and she visits Rome so I decide to watch having been a couple times the last year.

All her suggestions seem tasty, but I am totally confused by the late afternoon meal of Antipasta at the Jewish restaurant (seemed more like a full meal to me) consisting of Misto Frittata. I seemed like all the restaurants were closed between 3-7:30. Did I miss something?

Also, she mentioned that people eat very late in Rome, which I didn't notice (8-9pm, not like Spain).
