I must admit, I was very skeptical about microwaving corn. A friend cooked it this way for me a couple years ago and it came out bad - very dry & overdone. I'm not sure how long she microwaved it. I started out with fresh corn from Cosentinos. I folded back the husks, removed the silk, gave it a quick rinse, and put the husks back. Zapped it for 3 minutes in my ancient microwave. Really awesome, delicious corn with great flavor! Thanks everyone!
