After Michael Bloomberg (billionaire businessman) announced his candidacy for mayor on June 6, he made a five boro tour of NYC. His Bronx stop included a walking tour of Arthur Ave in the Bronx. Where did he stop for lunch? Not at one of the popular and touristy Arthur Ave. spots-rather he ate at Robertos, the Chowhound's favorite!
This may be a bad omen for Bloomberg's campaign. Nelson Rockefeller related to the common voter, and would campaign (and eat) at Katz's Deli on Houston st. or be photographed eating a street Hot Dog (helping him to win 4 terms as governor).
