meyer lemons at the marin farmer's market

I purchased Meyer Lemons this weekend at the Marin Farmer's market. There is a woman who sells there who is from Fresno - she sells different citrus fruits, fresh almonds, and prickly pears/nopales, among other things. At any rate, this week she had a box of beautiful Meyer Lemons for $2/pound. She said that they were on a couple of trees that she and her husband had forgotten about, and that she only had a couple of boxes.

I thought this was wayyyy out of season for them, but I could be wrong.

Just a head's up in case anyone makes it there on Thursday or Sunday - I hope that there still are some.

I am having a great tea this morning from Meyers and fresh mint ...
