Mexican Restaurant Chips and (what) Salsa?

I would assume this differs regionally but around here Mexican restaurants bring you fried corn tortilla chips and salsa when you are seated, gratis. My favorite restaurant serves three types of salsa, one is pico de gallo but I am unsure about the other two. There is a red one that is not chunky and is the hottest of the three. It might be made with bottled hot sauce like the ubiquitous Valentina that is frequently on the table along with a few other bottled sauces. My favorite is the green sauce. It is close to classic Salsa Verde but not exactly, it's blender smooth. It is thin and not creamy so it has no avocado in it. I'm thinking it contains cilantro, some sort of hot pepper, garlic, maybe parsley, lime juice and maybe a magic ingredient or two. Sound familiar? Name or recipe? Thanks!
