Anyone know about a Mexican kind of peanut brittle called MARIELAS?

Someone at work brought back some really thin candy that tastes like peanuts from Mexico. They bought it from a street vendor in a town in western Mexico. They said that they thought it's called MARIELAS. Kind of like a really thin peanut brittle.

They're delicious but I don't know where I can get more of them. I've asked around but can't find out anything more. Tried searching online but with no luck.

I'd like to find a place that sells them in Los Angeles and hopefully I'd like to find a recipe. These things are amazing!
