mexican groceries

fishkat | Dec 9, 2004 11:12 AM

Just got back from Mexico. Bought a number of souvenirs in the form of groceries from Commercial Mexicana, the equivalent of a Sav-A-Center or Winn Dixie, etc. Found some excellent coffee named "Tazza" (not Tazza d'Oro, which is Italian and widely available). It's ground, probably medium roast, and comes in in a brown/red foil pouch, not vacuum packed. Has anybody seen some anywhere? I've searched extensively on the web and cannot find anywhere to order more, not Amazon, Mexgrocer, Ethnicgrocer, various specialty coffee sites, sites linked to the foregoing, and just about everything else that Google offered. If anyone knows how I can get more, I'd appreciate a response.

Also, Sabritas brand enchilada flavored peanuts...
