Meskerem and Queen of Sheba comparison

I recently had the opportunity to eat at these two restaurants two nights in a row, and based on ordering almost exactly the same thing at both places (a vegetarian platter), I'd say that Meskerem has better food w/more flavor and larger portions and their service is much faster and nicer. The veggie dishes at Queen of Sheba were a little blah, but Meskerem had delicious, spicy mashed chick-peas, very flavorful lentils, tasty green beans, and their chick-pea balls were really tasty, almost meaty and kind of moist, as opposed to the crumbly, dry ones at QoS. The service was a really marked contrast. Meskerem: super friendly, very short wait for the food. Queen of Sheba: long wait to be seated, long wait to order, long wait for food, long wait for the check. but I would have tolerated all that if the food had been better.
