Menu planning for Special Event

Hi everyone!
I am just gonna get down to business here. I am getting married in July, and we're going to be preparing our own food. Since we're not professionals by any means we needed help with portions and food costs. I wanted to serve pernil (for those who dont know its a Puerto Rican pork shoulder roast). We are looking at 35 guests max, so how many lbs would I need?
