Memorial Day weekend report

Thanks for all the advice and posts! We had some great meals there. Herbsaint (lunch there-wonderful rabbit gumbo and fish of the day, warm banana tart was to die for) and Dick & Jenny's (we were there when they opened and didn't have to wait-I had fried green tomatoes with crab cakes, salmon with scallops, chocolate pie) were my favorites, though the husband and 18 and 20 yr old sons liked Commander's Palace brunch better. We've been there several times so I preferred the new places. We thought Mandina's OK but not great for lunch. Napoleon House was closed when we tried it. The oyster eaters (I'm not) liked Felix's and Acme. I was too stuffed to eat any more. Thanks again! The link to the top 10 was great. We wouldn't have tried Herbsaint if not for that.
