So, when cooking roast chickens and turkeys, the size and weight of the bird is taken into account...I recently cooked a filet, got the recipe from a friend and she said it didn't matter the size of the roast, just cook for x amount of time...I recently did a pork picnic shoulder, about twice the size of the recipe I had, and it cooked in the same amount of time as the smaller roast. Are there certain cuts of beef and pork where only temp. and time is taken into account, and not size of the meat?
