Max to the Max

We were told this was the new Valley Hot Spot while we were waiting for lunch. Must be because the noise level was cacaphonic (hope that is the term)- nice space, packed lunch crowd; Menu is fusion/cosmopolitan/california - a bit of everything. I had Masala crusted Cod on lemon balsamic rice with cashews with vegetables fried in a tempura chickpea batter with a pool of unbelievably lipsmacking coriander cream sauce around it all. There goes the Zone, so I pushed the rice to one side. Really well prepared, fish just done and not mushy. Bread so so plain sour dough. SO had roasted vegetable soup (which I though tasted like Campbells Tomato Bisque) and a chicken caesar that had "real" caesar dressing, prounced excellent. We were seated at the bar where the ceiling was lower, Lord have mercy, so the noise wasn't so bad. Nice service (manager said they had just hired a noise expert to pad the ceiling). Pleasant room and a fun lunch place (parking in the back).
