OK, had dinner at Matyson first time last night and i am in love. From the moment we walked in the door until we left, service could not have been more gracious, attentive, well-paced and professional at every level. Our coats were taken and we were promtly seated. Immediately our waitress came over and opened our wine...she was knowledgable about the menu items...We both started with the cream of eggplant soup with feta fritters - to die for, albeit quite filling. Main dishes were bronzino for DH and scallops for me...left a few scallops on the plate so I would have room for dessert. I wanted the double chocolate bundt cake but I'm allergic to nuts so I was told that was not an option...had the meyer lemon curd tart w/ raspberry sauce - very yummy. And the decaf coffee was good, too. Nice, clean restroom (part of DH's yardstick for rating restaurants) and I noted the fresh white lillies in there were a nice fragrant touch. Will definitely recommend this place and go back.
