Restaurants & Bars

We went to the new Match on the corner of Newbury and Mass Ave.

Just as the menu states, this is a place for martinis and mini-burgers. There are about 8 kinds of burgers including lamb, tuna, lobster and chicken, all about 3 inches in diameter, i would guess about 3 maybe 4 ounces. $5-$8 a la carte. Decent burgers, but great fries and onion rings.

The desserts were excellent. The best of the best is the Pan Seared Cookie Dough. Yes, you read that correctly. A crispy thin choc. chip cookie crust, with a gooey, warm and raw cookie dough center.

They also list about 12 martinis at standard boston martini prices, acting as a magnet to the hipster crowd.
