We went for the first time last night and we were blown away with the place. We sat in the lounge, on the dark side which provided wonderful ambience. The bone-in filet mignon had been recommended to me by friends and hubby always gets the bone-in NY where available. I had never heard of a bone-in FILET and the waiter recommended both and said the bone really ups the flavor and tenderness quotient. Hubby got the basket of shoestrings and I the gorgonzola mac and cheese. As the waiter informed us, all sides are meant to be shared and was he right! The shoestrings and mac would easily have served 4. The steaks were the finest we have EVER had and we frequent Capital Grille and not as often Ruth's Chris and Mortons. The flavor and meltingly tender meat was amazing. The plates were hot and sizzled for a good 5 minutes before we could think about cutting into the steak. The mac was equally hot and still bubbled for the same 5 minutes. The entire meal was the best we have ever had and we enjoyed the service - friendly, professional and comfortable, not at all snooty. it is pricey but the value for the money is certainly there. We'll be back!
