Masala and Arizmendi Spelt Bread

Just have to spread the word that after a year of us hectoring and haranguing the good people of Arizmendi, they are finally making a fabulous, chewy, flavorful loaf of non-wheat bread - it is their Spelt Sourdough and you can get it on Tuesdays starting around 10 am. If you know anyone who is wheat-free (it's not gluten-free, though), send them to Arizmendi with joy in their hearts. And for those who love good bread, buy the spelt anyway, it's yummy. Flavored with a little orange zest.

Also, our local Masala (on 9th Ave. between Lincoln and Irving) is now serving a very delicious and reasonable lunch buffet (of course now I can't recall the exact price). Everything was fresh, including the rice, and there were both meat and veggie options. A lovely place, too.
