Martini Beach in Cape May - Excellent New Orleans Jazz Brunch

We tried the New Orleans jazz brunch at Martini Beach (upstairs from Cabana's) yesterday and it was excellent. The price is only $20 pp, which includes a bloody mary or mimosa...add another $10 pp and it's open bar for the entire brunch.

Although the variety of dishes wasn't overwhelming, the quality was first rate. The menu included a New Orleans style frittata, shrimp with a barbecue style cocktail sauce, chicken with sausage gravy, crawfish etouffe, dirty rice, macque choux, blackened catfish (not at all salty), a fresh fruit platter, and banana bread pudding to die for.

We sat in the sunny enclosed porch which overlooks the beach and boardwalk, but there is also seating in the dining room and at the bar. An excellent jazz trio rounded out the experience.

IMHO, an excellent value for the $$. We'll be going back soon! :)
