Martell's Tiki Bar's license suspended for 30 days

jrvedivici | Apr 9, 201511:04 AM     16

I've got very mixed feelings on this, while I think the penalty is appropriate, I think the fact they chose post summer to apply the suspension is a bit of a joke. Obviously the penalty is stiff, but if you are going to suspend the license do it when it matters.

Obviously this is coming about because of a loss of life, but who hasn't seen them serve obviously intoxicated people. Go there any day or night in the summer and you are surrounded by drunks getting served. It's impossible to tell who is or isn't driving.

The flip side, the woman they served apparently stole a car from the parking lot that she eventually crashed and died in. That's a rather interesting twist as well.

Thoughts my local friends?
