Marquette Park

Bill Sloan | Sep 16, 200404:07 PM

I will be visiting Chicago in a few weeks and need some advice. I used to have a Lithuanian neighbor who told me about Marquette Park being an enclave and all of the good restaurants and bakeries it had. This was ages ago and he is now deceased, but I'm wondering if this neighborhood is still worth a visit. Are there still Lithuanian restaurants in Marquette Park and, if so, can anyone recommend which ones are the best? If not in Marquette Park, is there anywhere else I should go for this type of food?

My apologies in advance if I'm covering old ground. I don't read this board regularly and am posting hastily from work.
