Marinated meats in slow cooker vs stir fry?

Kung Pao Chicken is currently my favorite protein meal, but home cooked, I'd like to eat them with beans from a slow cooker. Which gets me thinking about adding my marinaded chicken to the slow cooker and skipping the stir fry altogether.

How does the taste change for a meat when slow cooking vs stir frying though? I guess I should expect a big difference?
