Manyda: new Thai spot in N downtown Oakland

Marc Wallace | Jul 9, 200309:44 PM

Was driving back from getting a fan at Sear's, and I noticed the new restaurant up at 23rd+Webster had a grand opening sign. Stepped in for a menu, and it smelled wonderful.

Looked like your standard Thai fare, with emphasis on curries and seafood. Dinner prices are approx $5 appetizers, $7 soups, $6.25-7.25 entrees (or "market" for special fish like Pompano). Lunch entrees $5.50.

2300 Webster, Oakland. 832-8896. Didn't catch the hours, but they were open at 6:30pm, and have both lunch and dinner menus.
