Went there Sat. for a birthday dinner - of us. Pretty space but the service was not good for the sort of prices they charge. I live in Manhattan and am used to high costs, but this place has no business charging 30 - 38 for entress and 15 for apps. This is reserved for the real creme de la creme places even in NYC. I will say food is quite nice. Wine list is not well constructed. Some service foible: sommelier let champagne bubble over the glass; no pre-dinner cocktail list was brought - server went to the bar and got one for the whole table; entree plates left far too long. It was a bday and I snuck away to have champagne and a few desserts brought over as a surprise. I asked this of the sommelier, and specified 'a bit of fanfare' but no singing/candles. Waitress came out and passed out dessert menus and other waiter set table with champagne glasses. OK, so she messed up and he ruined the surprise. Sommelier grabbed her and stopped the whole process. I said to both of them: OK, so you both ruined the surprise. To make up, sommelier comped the 3 desserts.
I just found this place to be sloppy for the overpriced, albiet good, food.
