mandarin deli - yum!

zooey | Nov 12, 2004 01:41 PM

i may be a bit behind the times here, but i finally tried mandarin deli last night seeing many references to it on this board. went to the one in temple city on las tunas and primrose.

ordered the beef rolled in pancake - fantastic! looks like a simple wrap but is leagues better than anything i've ever had. fresh scallions, cilantro, sweet hoisin, good-sized beef slices, and the perfect chewy-doughy wrapper!

also got the stewed beef noodles w/ homemade noodles - delicious broth, what a lovely visual contrast between the emerald green spinach, chocolately dark beef and broth, and golden noodles! yum!

so what else can anyone recommend i order next time? i'm definitely going to be making that a regular noodle spot!
