management change at Lucas Carton

I am sad to say that my good friend Jerome Moreau left Lucas Carton last week (3 days after my most recent meal there). I am happy I got to experience his service one last time at my favorite restaurant. Jerome has moved to Le Bristol (which I will try next time in Paris) and which I am sure will have its third star in the next few years now that Jerome is there. I still strongly recommended Lucas Carton even after Jerome has left since everyone there is so competent. But for those of you the planned on using my recommendation to ask for Jerome and say you are a friend of Marc DiBiaso from Sweden that would work best at Le Bristol now. A gentleman named Phillip has taken over from Jerome. I met him briefly. He is new to the restaurant but very kind and speaks perfect English. It not sure it will help but it will surely not hurt to ask for him instead and still drop my name as the guy from Sweden who loves food and wine combos. Anyone going to the Bristol before me (it will probably be at least 6 months before I am back in Paris) would be my friend forever if they left a report.
