Malan

tissue | Mar 13, 2005 03:46 AM

Went to Malan for lunch today. Loved the ja jian mien with medium flat noodles. I thought it was great!! The texture was wonderful, really nice mouthfeel and hit the spot. Too bad they put way too much cucumber slivers on top but oh well, you don't have to eat it.

Didn't try the belt sized noodles stir fried with chicken but plenty of other tables ordered it.

My friend mentioned to me it's a shame they don't have dan dan noodles. With the texture of their noodles in conjunction with a nice sesame sauce like the one they had with the liang fun type dish. Would be grand.
