I am making rabbit stew this weekend, Rabbit Brittany (rabbit with red wine, mushrooms...). I usually just serve a few cheeses so that my guests have something to eat when they first arrive but was trying to think of other options since the stew seems heavy. My other go to would be shrimp cocktail which seems like a strange thing to mix with rabbit stew. Any suggestions would be great. I was thinking of serving the stew with crusty bread and following the meal with a light salad.
