Has anyone ever tried making Lardo Di Colonnata at home?

I'm not looking for something that is an exact re-creation of it, since I don't have access to marble vats, italian pigs or herbs, but I do want something that is close. I am trying out a wet cured one and I have another piece of fat back that I want to try to dry cure but I'm unsure of where to start and how long to cure. Is this lardo hung dried as well?
