I just baked Maida's Queen Mother's Cake, a flourless chocolate cake. The recipe called for baking it 1hr 10 minutes which seems like an awful long time to bake any cake. I followed the recipe to the T, and I think it came out over cooked, but I'm not sure since I haven't tried it yet. But as I separated it from the springform pan, I could tell the edges seemed dry. I will ice it tomrrow for Mother's DAy and let you know. Was wondering have any of you made this cake? How did she come up with this cooking time?
