The first time I tried Magnolia I liked it a lot: good food and beer. But on three more recent visits, trying about a dozen beers on draught and cask, I have found every single beer to be terrible. Most of them taste watered down, lack body, and are devoid of almost all flavor. Those that don't have off flavors. Last night was my final visit, where I tried a Spud Boy IPA, Proving Ground, and Weather Report Wheat, all on cask. The two former were typically watery and flavorless, while the latter had such a strong taste of detergent that it was undrinkable.
I didn't eat there last night, though it would have been hard to enjoy any food over the smell of chlorine and mold rising from the rubber floor mats and wafting through the dining room.
As far as I'm concerned, it should be removed from the Tip Sheet.
