Did not know this was a chain when we dine there, this was the first time I had heard of it. Found the food interesting and good.

Six friends met for lunch last week at Santana Row Italian Family style restaurant for lunch. It has taken me a lot of time to write this report.

I do not remember if this place has been posted or not. But my non-computer buddy recommended this family style food like the food from someone Grandmother’s kitchen.

The price for lunch is about $20.00 per person for lunch. Dinner is about $10.00 more but the food is the same. So if you have the time during the day then lunch is cheap eats. This by no means high end Italian but very good family style comfort food.

Each table gets two appetizers, two salads, two pastas, two entree adn two desserts, we had stuffed mushrooms and Calamari Fritte, two large order of each plate was enough for six people on each plate.

Two salads, we had Maggiano’s and Caser, each bowl had six servings.

Two pasta, we had Linguine with White Clam Sauce and Veal and Mushroom Ravioli we had double helpings of the Ravioli

Two entrée, we had Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Saltimbocca we had two plates of each. Each plate had four half breast portions.

Two desserts, we had Ice Cream Puffs with whipped cream and Crème Brulee.

Very homey food and lots and lots of it, which we took a lot home. This is restaurant allow you to order more food even when you are full in order to take it home. It is like a great buffet that lets you take home what you want. You need at least 4 to be served this family meal.
