I'm going to be travelling to Madrid, Sevilla and Ronda with my partner and our 21 month old. I've checked the archives and dutifully made notes of previous recommendations. Any particular recs for places with a child? We're going to be staying near the Prado in Madrid (not sure where yet in the other towns, but they're smaller), but love to walk, so recs don't need to be near the Prado. We're really just looking for good examples of typical Spanish cuisine (no matter what the region). Don't need to be dives, but we're not planning any big 'blow-out' meals, so multi-starred restaurants are not important to us.
I'm particularly concerned with breakfast recs. I understand that breakfast isn't a large meal in Spain, and while that's fine for partner and me, the 21 month old won't be able to hold off until 2pm for food! Good places for churros y chocolate that are open in the am? The place that seems most consistently recommended (San Gines) doesn't seem to open until 6pm. Are churros y chocolate not a breakfast food? If not, any good places for a pastry and coffee in the morning?
Finally, butterfly, if you're reading this, I would be so grateful if you could drop me an email offline (address is above, just change that cold to a hot). I've got a couple of non-chow questions I would love to post to you directly, and don't want to abuse boards.
