Is mad cow disease still something one needs to worry about, in Paris, specifically? Does everyone avoid eating all beef in Paris or only those people with a particular level of paranoia? I'd thought it was last year's issue, but some (San Francisco, non-vegetarian) friends were shocked recently when I mentioned that I was looking forward to onion soup, pho tai and boeuf bourgignon (sp?) on an upcoming trip. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks.
