Luscious Dumplings short report

Joe Blowe | Feb 4, 2002 11:00 AM

On Chandavkl's heads-up, I made it over to Luscious Dumplings this weekend. Had the following:

- combo of stewed beef noodles and 5 dumplings (chive, pork and shrimp), $5.00

- 10 steamed "pork with soup" dumplings, $4.25

- 10 fried pork dumplings, $4.25

Their menu has 9 dumpling variations, 6 noodle variations, and 5 "Snack/Vegetable" variations. That's it. Their ordering system is similar to Din Tai Fung - mark your menu card and hand it off to the waiter.

Overall, prices are *very* reasonable. The dumplings were better than Mei Long Village (IMHO), but not as good as Din Tai Fung (IMHO). And service is okay-to-good, but my wife found it annoying that they served me, the man, first!
