Lunch at Shangri-La, Belmont

Just back from an impromptu lunch (first visit):

Beef Noodle Soup: A big bowl of fettucini-like noodles, good tender/chewy chunks of beef, spinach leaves, scallions, in a well-flavored broth with medium red-chili spiciness. Simple, homey, perfect for the day.

Stir-fried Bean Sprouts with Sesame Sauce: This is listed under “cold appetizers.” Actually it’s half a dozen very thin wrappers each filled with neatly stacked bean sprouts, rolled into a cylinder, and fried, with an accompanying bowl of tangy, slightly spicy sesame sauce. Very tasty.

The menu looks good. I definitely want to return.
