Lunch in NE PHilly

Running errands, the most convenient place for us to have a quick lunch was Ruhlings today--on Rising Sun, just past Cottman.

Somehow it changes little. Not chow, but reliable seafood at reasonable prices. Quiet, friendly service. $10.95 for broiled scallops, fried eggplant and stewed tomatoes, with $1.00 added for a nice cup of snapper soup instead of the included soup of the day was my idea of a lovely lunch. Hubby's tuna sandwich passed his test for quality, which at $7.95 included soup was also a good lunch. Free parking next door.
