My husband and I will be going to Paris at the end of April, and want to make reservations from now.
So for one splurge lunch, I'm leaning towards
- Les Ambassadeurs: for the ornate dining room and the consistent stellar food reviews - should I go for it
Or should I opt for:
- Ledoyen: Some not so spectacular reviews regarding the food and service, which is going to be a big problem with my husband if the service is bad.
- Rostang: the classic French food. Are they always consistent?
For dinner, my first choice would be Jean-Francoise Piege.
But if I could not get a reservation there... where should I go?
Il Vino - We're a wine enthusiast. So the food good?
Maybe Les Ambassadeurs - if we didn't opt for lunch
L'Atelier Joel R. - I was thinking maybe we should skip this? Since we have one nearer to us in Hongkong?
If you are me, which lunch or dinner choice would you choose??? Any comments at all?
I am staying away from the really innovative food, as we would also be travelling through San Sebastian on this trip and dine at Arzak and Akelarre, and we are going to have another trip to Paris in Aug.
Also, on this trip to Paris, we will try to fit in lunch/dinner at Chez Casmir, Les Regallade and Les Cocottes.
On a side note, what do you think of Yam'Tcha or Ze Kitchen Galerie?
Any good Provencal restaurant in Paris?
