In about a month, I'll be attending a photography seminar in Boston. Tentative plans are to be at Fanuell Hall/Quincy Market around lunch time on a Saturday early afternoon.
Any suggestions for non-tourist trap places? I'm not sure how much time I have, but I presume I'll be able to walk at least a short distance (45 mins to an hour total time, though I could be wrong; I walk quickly).
I'm relatively open but some preferences are:
-- I don't like Italian food
-- bakery items (doughnuts, muffins, pastries, etc.) don't count as a meal to me. In line with this, I don't have a sweet tooth.
-- not a fan of deep-fried.
-- no chain restaurants
-- nothing really heavy (I have an afternoon of walking around afterwards)
Good (interesting) food trucks are always welcome. I recognize that, considering the location, I'll probably have to settle, but guidance is welcome.
