Pad Thai at Dok Bua was excellent. Nice peanutty flavor to the noodles (don't try pad thai at vietnamese noodle places...extremely bad idea)-: Don't bother "upgrading" the pad thai to use shrimp instead of chicken. You only get 3 shrimp (though deveined) for $2. The lunch dish was $6.50 and included two sides (I had the peanut sauce salad and coconut soup).
Tried the Yu Xiang chicken/shrimp (full strength instead of asking for mild) at Sichuan Gourmet. Huge dish and my tongue couldn't tell if the dish was too hot or too spicy after a while and my nose kept running...it was a good dish w/ lots of fresh wood ear fungus :-)
Egg roll was freshly cooked, but I didn't like the ingredients. Egg drop soup had lots of egg white and an interesting color. I should have tried the hot and sour soup but was afraid to blow out my tongue more ;-)
It's a good deal for $6.25. I'm surprised it wasn't more crowded today...
