Lunch Attire for Jean Georges

mwparker2 | May 29, 2008 06:44 AM

Next week, I'll be making my last trip to Manhattan for a while before heading to graduate school (and voluntary poverty) in the fall.

I've got a reservation for the 'formal dining room' at Jean Georges for lunch. I assume this means coat (and tie?) for dinner. But does the same thing hold true for lunch?

I don't mind to wear a jacket, but as I'm flying in I'd rather not have to pack bulky clothes that I'll only wear for a couple of hours...

Can somebody that's been to lunch there recently clue me in?

Want to stay up to date with this post?
