Lunch #2, Alcazar

Zoe | Jun 17, 200511:12 PM

If there was a reason to be born it would be to eat superb Arab food. Nothing like it; lunch here was short of wonderful - nice room, service, elegant room in fact and lots of room and a huge menu. We had the vegetable meze plate, falafal, hummus, roasted eggplant, dolmos (outstanding) and spinach pie with lots of olives and turnip slices and I indulged myself with the plate of fried brains (was going to try the lamb fries but the brains won out) - really delicious. PLus a huge homemade 'dough' - our serving was two hugs glases each (I am awash in dough).

This is located opposite the Encino Town Mall in the 17000 block (more of less) of Ventura Blvd. Parking on the side.

This is the best food I have had since Egypt (its lebanese cuisine however). Run don't walk.
