Lucky platter and other places in Evanston for breakfast

I'm following up on Cliff's message below (see the Lou Mitchell thread about 3 down)

Lucky Platter in Evanston is a great diner-esque place, but it doesn't do the traditional diner dishes the same way. It has meatloaf, but it's in a plum BBQ sauce. There's a few kinds of baked chicken (a half chicken in BBQ or Tandoori style), great salads, tuna melt is on cornbread, excellent hamburger, etc.

I have had very sandy salads, and I have my doubts as to whether they even bother washing the parsley... but overall it is a VERY good restaurant. We live near there, and go at least once a week for dinner or takeout, and have many weekend breakfasts there. Even when you want healthy, you can do one of their scrambled-egg dishes with egg whites and substitute fruit for potatoes (for an extra $1) - and the apple-ricotta blintzes are excellent.

Where else do people like for breakfast in Evanston? Blind faith has interesting choices, with various Mexican (mexicoid?) -type dishes along with the traditional pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, etc.
