Over the Thanksgiving Holiday I again visited the Lowake Steakhouse. Enjoyed my usual Filet Mignon, cooked just the way I like it!
The good news is that there was no "For Sale" sign. The longtime owner, Phil Tomlinson, said he had closed on a deal the previous week. The new owners have hired Phil, and the other employees to stay. Phil's comments, "The new owners are going to put money into new equipment, but the food will remain the same."
If you are in west Texas, between San Angelo and Ballinger, just 6 miles off the main road, stop by for a great steak. By the way, have an order of onion rings too.
